She's gorgeous!! I can't wait for you guys to come visit VA so I can love all over her. Won and I can't stop looking at the pictures and I just keep bursting out with happy tears. You're parents! Of Kyla! Does it GET any better than that??

Oh, get used to it...
And Sam says he's all happy about the kid but back off the Hoosier thing because the Badgers rule the Big Ten.

More from Sam:
"The Hoosier's day in the sun has passed."

Well, it's true. Though Kyla is technically from Hoosierville, home of the fighting Irish, Rachel and I met in Champaign-Urbana. That makes this kid part fighting Illini also. Either way, she's fighting.

It doesn't matter amn, she's going to be a guitar player and will care not for silly organized sports.

Either way, stop your badgering!

:)

Illini clearly rule the Big Ten. Kyla told me as much yesterday. This kid has orange and blue coarsing through her veins. She's one smart girl! Oh, and she's pretty adorable too. Thanks for letting me visit her. "Aunt" Tina

Hi Rachel and Dan,
We are so pleased to see all the cute pictures of Kyla and hear about the events leading to her birth and you becoming parents. Congratulations! Grandma Jeanne and Grandpa Lynn have been so excited the past few weeks, to say the least, and we've enjoyed hearing about the anticipated arrival of your baby. I hope you get back to VA before too long so we can see Kyla in person and give her a hug. Enjoy those stroller walks in Balboa Park. Can't get much better than that. Best wishes to all. Ruth & John

Hi again...
Sam and I just wanted to wish Dan a very happy first Father's Day! We hope it was wonderful for you all!

Happy Father's Day, Dan.

We missed you at the Farmer's Market today. Missed you and your killer tunes.

Forget Wisconsin, forget Illinois (though I do like each campus for their own merits, like churning out good people!)

**Michigan**, baby. ;)

Kisses to you and your ladies.
