We just got word that our ICPC (interstate compact for the placement of children) which had to be approved by both CA and IN before we could leave the state was approved. That means we'll change our flight to Wednesday and get the heck out of Bend!
Kyla wants to go shopping for her swimsuit and shades so she is ready for San Diego!

Yea! We're thrilled for you that you're on your way home. Something that helped us on the flight was sticking the bottle in Ruby's mouth for take-off and landing. The swallowing helped her ears and we didn't suffer any crying. Give it a shot.
Had a dream about you three last night. Sam, Ruby and I did the unthinkable: we stopped by your house on your second morning home without calling first. You were both polite but none too happy about our visit! Ha...!

We did give Kyla something to suck on during flight take-off and landing (am I a bad mom if I admit that it was her favorite thing to suck on which is my finger??? we are trying to get her to spend more time with the pacifier instead...) and she looked slightly upset but did okay!
